Removing system fan
Prerequisites
CAUTION: Do not remove or install the fan by holding the blades.
CAUTION: Never operate your system with the system fan removed. System can overheat and result in
shutdown of the system and loss of data.
1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in Safety instructions.
2. Follow the procedure listed in Before working inside your system.
3. Open the PSU assembly.
4. Remove the speaker.
5. Disconnect the fan power cable from the system board connector.
