Steps
1. Remove the (M2x3) screw that secures the heat sink to the palm-rest assembly.
2. Loosen the four captive screws that secure the heat sink to the system board.
3. Lift the heat sink off the system board.

If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
