Coin-cell battery
Removing the coin-cell battery
Prerequisites
1. Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the side cover.
NOTE: Removing the coin-cell battery resets the BIOS setup program settings to default. It is recommended that you note
the BIOS setup program settings before removing the coin-cell battery.

Steps
1. Using a plastic scribe, gently pry the coin-cell battery out of the coin-cell battery slot on the system board.
2. Lift and remove the coin-cell battery from coin-cell battery slot on the system board.
