Removing the memory modules

Prerequisites

1. Remove the

stability foot.

2. Remove the left and right side-panels. See “Removing the side panels”.

Procedure

1. Lay the chassis on the right side.

Locate the memory modules on the system board.

3. Use your fingertips to carefully spread apart the securing-clips on each end of the memory-module slot.

4. Grasp the memory module near the securing clip, and then gently ease the memory module out of the memory-module slot.

NOTE: Repeat step 2 to step 4 to remove any other memory modules installed in your computer.
