Removing the solid-state drive

CAUTION: Solid-state drives are fragile. Exercise care when handling the solid-state drive.
CAUTION: To avoid data loss, do not remove the solid-state drive while the computer is in sleep or on state.
Prerequisites
1. Remove the
stability foot.
2. Remove the left and right side-panels. See “
Removing the side panels”.
Procedure
1. Lay the chassis on the right side.
2. Locate the M.2 solid-state drive on the system board.
3. Remove the screw (M2x2.5) that secures the M.2 solid-state drive to the system board.
4. Slide and remove the M.2 solid-state drive from the M.2 solid-state drive slot on the system board.
