You will work closely with Dell Technologies Services to assess your site and determine specific requirements pertaining to your
APEX Data Storage Services order. This section provides general site requirements for APEX Data Storage Services.

Site access requirements
Ensure that Dell Technologies Services can successfully deliver and install your APEX Data Storage Services by making sure that
your site meets these basic requirements:
NOTE:
The following list provides basic site access requirements. Dell Technologies Services develops detailed
specifications for your specific APEX Data Storage Services installation.
● Building is accessible by a 16.15 m (53 ft) tractor-trailer (assuming you have a loading dock).
● Lift gate is not required to deliver into the building.
● No special security clearance or site access is required to enter the facility.
● No special documents are required (for example: documents that are related to Hazardous Material, Export Compliance,
Union building, and so on).
● A stairway, stair crawler, or elevator is not required.
● The route to the final rack destination is free of obstacles.
● The floor and the path to the final rack destination can support up to 1496.86 kg (3300 lbs).
● Dimensions of the smallest doorway are at least 121.92 cm by 228.6 cm (48 in. by 90 in.).
● The data center must have Internet connectivity.
Environmental requirements
Dell Technologies Services collaborates with your IT organization to validate environmental requirements such as ambient and
operating temperatures.
Power requirements
Your APEX Data Storage Services requires either single phase or 3-phase power, depending on whether your offer is based on
block or file storage. Dell Technologies Services works with you to determine the appropriate power requirements.
Single-phase power requirements
Single-phase power can be used for offers that are based on either block or file storage.
NOTE:
These requirements are basic power and electrical requirements. Dell Technologies Services develops detailed
specifications for your specific APEX Data Storage Services installation.
