portLogResize

Resizes the port log to include a specified number of entries.

SYNOPSIS portlogresize num_entries

DESCRIPTION Use this command to resize the port log to include a specified number of entries. If the specified number

of entries is less than the already configured port log size, there is no change.

NOTES The execution of this command is subject to Virtual Fabric or Admin Domain restrictions that may be in

place. Refer to Chapter 1, "Using Fabric OS Commands" and Appendix A, "Command Availability" for

details.

OPERANDS This command has the following operand:

num_entries

Specifies the number of port log entries. The valid range of values is 32,768 to

13,1072 for the Brocade Encryption Switch, DCX, and DCX-4S. For all other

platforms, the range is 16,384 to 32,768.

EXAMPLES To resize the portlog:

switch:admin> portlogresize 17288
