FCIP Health
The FCIP Health category enables you to define rules for FCIP health, including circuit state
changes, circuit state utilization, and packet loss. Table 11 lists the monitored parameters in this
category and provides a brief description for each one.

Monitored parameter Description
FCIP circuit state changes
(CIR_STATE)
The state of the circuit has changed for one of the following reasons:
• The circuit has gone offline
• The circuit has come online
• The circuit is faulty
FCIP circuit utilization
(CIR_UTIL)
The percentage of circuit utilization in the configured time period (this can be
minute, hour, or day).
FCIP circuit packet loss
(CIR_PKTLOSS)
The percentage of the total number of packets that have had to be
retransmitted.
