Displaying iSCSI Optimization Information
To display information on iSCSI optimization, use the following show commands.
Display the currently configured iSCSI settings.
show iscsi
Display information on active iSCSI sessions on the switch.
show iscsi session
Display detailed information on active iSCSI sessions on the switch. To display detailed information on
specified iSCSI session, enter the session’s iSCSI ID.
show iscsi sessions detailed [session isid]
Display all globally configured non-default iSCSI settings in the current Dell Networking OS session.
show run iscsi
NOTE:
The switch learns only the active iSCSI sessions which it observes; sessions flowing through an
adjacent switch are not learned.
After you reload the switch, iSCSI session information exchanged during the initial handshake is not
available. If the switch picks up session communication after reloading, it detects iSCSI sessions in
progress but sometimes cannot obtain complete session information. Incomplete information
about active iSCSI sessions is not displayed in show iscsi session command output.
In a VLT configuration, show iscsi session output is not accurate unless there are iSCSI traffic
flows on VLT LAGs on both the target and the initiator side of the VLT domain.
