You can change the default le system so that le management commands apply to a particular device or memory.
To change the default directory, use the following command.
• Change the default directory.

cd directory
Copy Files to and from the System
The command syntax for copying les is similar to UNIX. The copy command uses the format copy source-file-url
destination-file-url
.
NOTE: For a detailed description of the copy command, refer to the

• To copy a local le to a remote system, combine the le-origin syntax for a local le location with the le-destination syntax for a remote
le location.
• To copy a remote le to Dell Networking system, combine the le-origin syntax for a remote le location with the le-destination syntax
for a local le location.

Important Points to Remember
• You may not copy a le from one remote system to another.
• You may not copy a le from one location to the same location.
• When copying to a server, you can only use a hostname if a domain name server (DNS) server is congured.
• The usbflash command is supported on the device. Refer to your system’s Release Notes for a list of approved USB vendors.
