Sample Configuration: Uplink Failure
Detection
The following example shows a sample configuration of UFD on a switch/router in which you configure as
follows.
Configure uplink-state group 3.
Add downstream links Tengigabitethernet 0/1, 0/2, 0/5, 0/9, 0/11, and 0/12.
Configure two downstream links to be disabled if an upstream link fails.
Add upstream links Tengigabitethernet 0/3 and 0/4.
Add a text description for the group.
Verify the configuration with various show commands.
