Usage
Information
CAUTION: Use this command only when you are working directly with a technical support
representative to troubleshoot a problem. Do not use this command unless a technical
support representative instructs you to do so.
show cpu-traffic-stats
View CPU traffic statistics.
C9000 Series
Syntax
show cpu-traffic-stats [cp | rp | linecard {slot-id | pe ]
Parameters
number
Specify an interface number. The number of interfaces range from 1 to 1568.
all Enter the keyword all to display traffic statistics on all the interfaces.
cp Enter the keyword cp to display traffic statistics on the Control Processor CPU.
rp Enter the keyword rp to display traffic statistics on the Route Processor CPU.
pe Enter the keyword pe to display traffic statistics on the Port Extender.
Defaults Display CPU traffic statistics for all switch CPUs (Control Processor and Route Processor).

Usage
Information
Traffic statistics are sorted on a per-interface basis; the interface receiving the most traffic is displayed
first. All CPU and port information is displayed unless a specific port or CPU is specified. Traffic
information is displayed for router ports only; not for management interfaces. The traffic statistics are
collected only after the debug cpu-traffic-stats command is executed; not from the system
bootup.
NOTE: After debugging is complete, use the no debug cpu-traffic-stats command to shut
off traffic statistics collection.
