Administrator Guide

Version Description
8.3.1.0 Introduced.
Usage
Information
By default, when rate policing and shaping, the system does not include the Preamble, SFD, or the IFG
fields. These fields are overhead; only the fields from MAC destination address to the CRC are used for
forwarding and are included in these rate metering calculations.
Use this command in Configuration Terminal Batch mode to enable the QoS rate adjustment in a dual-
homing setup.

Usage
Information
Guarantee a minimum bandwidth to different queues globally using the service-class bandwidth-
percentage command from CONFIGURATION mode. The command is applied in the same way as the
bandwidth-percentage command in an output QoS policy. The bandwidth-percentage
command in QOS-POLICY-OUT mode supersedes the service-class bandwidth-percentage
command.
Use this command in Configuration Terminal Batch mode to specify the minimum bandwidth for queues in
a dual-homing setup.
