set local-preference
To set the BGP LOCAL_PREF attribute for routers within the local autonomous system, configure a filter.
C9000 Series
Syntax
set local-preference value
To delete a BGP LOCAL_PREF attribute, use the no set local-preference command.
Parameters
value
Enter a number as the LOCAL_PREF attribute value. The range is from 0 to
4294967295.
Defaults Not configured.

Usage
Information
The set local-preference command changes the LOCAL_PREF attribute for routes meeting the
route map criteria. To change the LOCAL_PREF for all routes, use the bgp default local-
preference command.

set metric [+ | -] metric-value
To delete a setting, enter no set metric.

- (OPTIONAL) Enter - to subtract a metric-value from the redistributed routes.

Enter a number as the new metric value. The range is from zero (0) to
4294967295.
