Enter a number as the time interval, in seconds, between BGP advertisements. The

range is 0 to 600 seconds. The default is 5 seconds for internal BGP peers and 30

seconds for external BGP peers.

Defaults

● seconds = 5 seconds (internal peers)

● seconds = 30 seconds (external peers)

Set the number of times an AS number can occur in the AS path.

C9000 Series

Syntax

neighbor {ip-address | peer-group-name} allowas-in number

To return to the default value, use the no neighbor {ip-address | peer-group-name}

allowas-in command.

Parameters

ipv6-address

Enter the IPv6 address in the x:x:x:x::x format.

NOTE: The :: notation specifies successive hexadecimal fields of zeros.

peer-group-name

Enter the name of the peer group to set the advertisement interval for all routers in

the peer group.

number

Enter a number of times to allow this neighbor ID to use the AS path. The range is 1

to 10.

Defaults Not configured.
