Usage
Information
Though the software does not generate a route due to backdoor config, there is an option for injecting/
sourcing a local route in presence of network backdoor config on a learned route.
redistribute
Redistribute routes into BGP.
C9000 Series
Syntax
redistribute {connected | static} [route-map map-name]
To disable redistribution, use the no redistribution [connected | static] [route-map
map-name] command.
Parameters
connected Enter the keyword connected to redistribute routes from physically connected
interfaces.
static Enter the keyword static to redistribute manually configured routes. These
routes are treated as incomplete routes.
route-map
map-
name
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keywords route-map followed by the name of an
established route map. Only the following ROUTE-MAP mode commands are
supported:
match ipv6 address
match ipv6 next-hop
match ipv6 route-source
set ipv6 next-hop
If the route map is not configured, the default is deny (to drop all routes).
Defaults Not configured.

Information
If you do not configure the default-metric command in addition to the redistribute command, or
there is no route map to set the metric, the metric for redistributed static and connected is 0.
To redistribute the default route (0::0/0), configure the neighbor default-originate command.

redistribute ospf process-id [[match external {1 | 2}] [match internal]]
[route-map map-name]
To stop redistribution of OSPF routes, use the no redistribute ospf process-id command.
