isis ipv6 metric
Assign metric to an interface for use with IPv6 information.
C9000 Series
Syntax
isis ipv6 metric default-metric [level-1 | level-2]
To return to the default values, use the no ipv6 isis metric [default-metric] [level-1 |
level-2] command.
Parameters
default-metric
Metric assigned to the link and used to calculate the cost from each other router
via the links in the network to other destinations. You can configure this metric for
Level 1 or Level 2 routing. The range is from 0 to 16777215. The default is 10.
level-1 (OPTIONAL) Enter the keywords level-1 to configure the shortest path first
(SPF) calculation for Level 1 (intra-area) routing. This value is the default.
level-2 (OPTIONAL) Enter the keywords level-2 to configure the SPF calculation for
Level 2 (inter-area) routing.
Defaults default-metric = 10; level-1 (if not otherwise specified)

Usage
Information
Dell Networking recommends configuring metrics on all interfaces. Without configuring this command, the
IS-IS metrics are similar to hop-count metrics.
