Users Guide

time-zone: Enter the three-letter name for the time zone. This name displays in the show clock output.
start-week: (OPTIONAL) Enter one of the following as the week that daylight saving begins and then enter values for start-
day
through end-time:
week-number: Enter a number from 1 to 4 as the number of the week in the month to start daylight saving time.
first: Enter the keyword first to start daylight saving time in the rst week of the month.
last: Enter the keyword last to start daylight saving time in the last week of the month.
start-month: Enter the name of one of the 12 months in English. You can enter the name of a day to change the order of the
display to time day month year.
start-day: Enter the number of the day. The range is from 1 to 31. You can enter the name of a month to change the order of
the display to time day month year.
start-year: Enter a four-digit number as the year. The range is from 1993 to 2035.
start-time: Enter the time in hours:minutes. For the hour variable, use the 24-hour format; example, 17:15 is 5:15 pm.
end-week: If you entered a start-week, enter the one of the following as the week that daylight saving ends:

60 minutes.

NOTE
: If you enter <CR> after entering the recurring command parameter, and you have already set a one-time daylight
saving time/date, the system uses that time and date as the recurring setting.
To view the clock summer-time recurring parameters, use the clock summer-time <time> recurring ? command.
