Administrator Guide

When the advertise med power-via-mdi command is enabled in CONFIGURATION mode, advertisement
is enabled for all the interfaces in a system. To enable advertisement for a specific interface, configure the
command in INTERFACE configuration mode.
Port extender (PE) processes and advertises LLDP power-via-MDI TLVs when the LLDP advertisement of the
TLV is enabled on the PE in class power management mode. Incoming LLDP messages are processed only when
the PE is in class power management mode.
