Usage Information
You can assign up to 64 peers to one peer group.
When you add a peer to a peer group, it inherits all the peer group’s configured parameters. A peer cannot
become part of a peer group if any of the following commands are configured on the peer:
neighbor advertisement-interval
neighbor distribute-list
neighbor route-map
neighbor route-reflector-client
neighbor send-community
A neighbor may keep its configuration after it was added to a peer group if the neighbor’s configuration is more
specific than the peer group’s, and the neighbor’s configuration does not affect outgoing updates.
A peer group must exist before you add a peer to it. If the peer group is disabled (shutdown), the peers within the
group are also disabled (shutdown).
