Implementation Information
• L2PT is available for STP, RSTP, MSTP, and PVST+ BPDUs.
• No protocol packets are tunneled when you enable VLAN stacking.
• L2PT requires the default CAM prole.
Enabling Layer 2 Protocol Tunneling
To enable Layer 2 protocol tunneling, use the following command.
1 Verify that the system is running the default CAM prole. Use this CAM prole for L2PT.
