ipv4
unicast
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword ipv4 followed by the keyword unicast to view
information related only to ipv4 unicast routes.
ipv6 unicast (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword ipv6 followed by the keyword unicast to view
information related only to ipv6 unicast routes.
peer-group-name
(OPTIONAL) Enter the name of a peer group to view information about that peer group
only.
detail (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword detail to view detailed status information of the peers
in that peer group.
summary (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword summary to view status information of the peers in that
peer group. The output is the same as that found in the show ip bgp summary
command.

Usage Information
The following describes the show ip bgp peer-group command shown in the following example.
Line beginning

Description
Peer-group Displays the peer group’s name.
Administratively
shut
Displays the peer group’s status if the peer group is not enabled. If you enable the peer
group, this line is not displayed.
BGP version Displays the BGP version supported.
Minimum time Displays the time interval between BGP advertisements.
For address family Displays IPv4 Unicast as the address family.
BGP neighbor Displays the name of the BGP neighbor.
Number of peers Displays the number of peers currently configured for this peer group.
Peer-group
members:
Lists the IP addresses of the peers in the peer group. If the address is outbound
optimized, an * is displayed next to the IP address.
Border Gateway Protocol 403
