show ip bgp neighbors
Allows you to view the information BGP neighbors exchange.

Syntax
show ip bgp [vrf vrf-name] [ipv4 {multicast | unicast} | ipv6
unicast] neighbors [ip-address [advertised-routes | dampened-
routes | detail | flap-statistics | routes | {received-routes
[network [network-mask]]} | {denied-routes [network [network-
mask]]}]
Parameters
vrf vrf-name (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword vrf and then the name of
the VRF to view information exchanged by BGP neighbors
corresponding to that VRF.
NOTE: You can use this attribute to view information
exchanged by BGP neighbors that correspond to either
a default or a non-default VRF.
ipv4 multicast (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword ipv4 followed by the
keyword multicast to view information related only to
ipv4 multicast routes.
ipv4 unicast (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword ipv4 followed by the
keyword unicast to view information related only to ipv4
unicast routes.
ipv6 unicast (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword ipv6 followed by the
keyword unicast to view information related only to ipv6
unicast routes.
ip-address (OPTIONAL) Enter the IP address of the neighbor to view
only BGP information exchanged with that neighbor.
advertised-routes (OPTIONAL) Enter the keywords advertised-routes to
view only the routes the neighbor sent.
dampened-routes (OPTIONAL) Enter the keywords dampened-routes to view
information on dampened routes from the BGP neighbor.
detail (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword detail to view neighbor-
specific internal information for the IPv4 Unicast address
family.
flap-statistics (OPTIONAL) Enter the keywords flap-statistics to view
flap statistics on the neighbor’s routes.
routes (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword routes to view only the
neighbor’s feasible routes.
received-routes
[network
[network-mask]
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keywords received-routes then
either the network address (in dotted decimal format) or the
network mask (in slash prefix format) to view all information
received from neighbors.
