Monitor the Power Budget
The power budget is the amount of power available from the installed PSUs minus the power required to operate the port extender.
To help determine if power is available for additional PoE or PoE+ ports, use the show power inline and show power detail
commands. For information about these commands, see Displaying PoE Power Allocation.
The C1048P PE has one 1000 W xed PSU and one external power supply with a capacity of 1000 W. The power required for system
components is 150 W. The power available for PoE or PoE+ is calculated after excluding the power needed for system components and
power redundancy.
The following table denes the power budgeting for PE. In this table, 150 W from the xed PSU and EPS are reserved for system power
and redundancy. The remaining 850 W from each PSU is allotted for PoE or PoE+.
