Applying a WRED Prole to Trac
After you create a WRED prole, you must specify on which trac the system applies the prole.
The system assigns a color-coded drop precedence — red, yellow, or green — to each packet based on the fourth bit of the 6-bit DSCP
eld in the packet header before queuing it.
• If the fourth DSCP bit is 0, packet is marked as green.
• If the fourth DSCP bit is 1, the packet is marked as yellow (except for DSCP 63, which is marked as red).
• If you do not congure honor DSCP values on ingress packets (trust diffservcommand), all trac defaults to green drop
precedence. See Honoring DSCP Values on Ingress Packets for more information.
• Assign a WRED prole to either yellow or green trac.

Displaying Default and Congured WRED Proles
To display the default and congured WRED proles, use the following command.
• Display default and congured WRED proles and their threshold values.

Displaying WRED Drop Statistics
To display WRED drop statistics, use the following command.
• Display the number of packets that the WRED prole drops.
