init
Description
Starts an initialization operation on the specified virtual drive.
Synopsis
racadm raid init:<VD FQDD> -speed {fast | full} {-current | -
pending}
Input
–current <optional>: Performs the configuration right now.
NOTE: If this requires the system to reboot it will reboot then.
–pending: Save the configuration change for a later application. You can use a combination of
the –pending and –current flags on multiple commands to reduce the possible number of system
reboots.
–speed{fast | full}: Perform a fast or full (slow) initialization on the virtual drive.
