specify any number of groups/objects to write, the index cannot be specified. A
new user is added to the first available index. This behavior allows more flexibility in
configuring a second CMC with the same settings as the main CMC.
Adding a CMC User
To add a new user to the CMC configuration, you can use a few basic
commands. Perform the following procedures:

Set the user name.

Set the password.

Set the user privileges. For information about user privileges, see
Table 5-11, Table 5-12, and Table 3-1 in the database property chapter of
the

Enable the user.
Example
The following example describes how to add a new user named "John" with a
"123456" password and LOGIN privilege to the CMC.
NOTE: See Table 3-1 in the database property chapter of the Dell Chassis
Management Controller Firmware Version 2.0 Administrator Reference Guide for a
list of valid bit mask values for specific user privileges. The default privilege value is
0, which indicates the user has no privileges enabled.
racadm config -g cfgUserAdmin -o cfgUserAdminUserName

To verify that the user was added successfully with the correct privileges, use
