the SSID Prefix and Passcode are.
Connecting the Mobile Device
1 Connect the mobile device to the Wi-Fi Direct network.
The following procedure uses Windows
®
7, Windows
®
10, OS X 10.11, iOS, and
Android as examples.
For Windows
®
7:
a Click the network icon on the taskbar.
b Click the printer's SSID, and then click Connect.
c Enter the passphrase, and then click OK.
d Click Cancel, and then exit the Set Network Location window.
For Windows
®
10:
a Click the Start button, and then click Settings.
b Click the Wi-Fi icon.
c Click the printer's SSID, and then click Connect.
d Enter the passphrase, and then click OK.
For OS X 10.11:
a Click the network icon on the Menu Bar.
b Click the printer's SSID.
c Enter the passphrase, and then click Join.
For iOS:
a Tap SettingsJ Wi-Fi.
b Tap the printer's SSID.
c Enter the passphrase, and then tap Join.
For Android:
The procedure varies depending on your mobile device you are using. Refer to the
manual provided with your mobile device.
2 Install the printer on the mobile device.
Before printing, you are required to install the print driver accordingly.
For Windows

You need to install the printer driver on the mobile device. See "Installing Printer
Drivers on Windows® Computers".
