Assisted Recovery, PBA
For PBA recovery, log on to www.dell.com/support > Endpoint Security Solutions and enter your service tag number,
which is located on the bottom of your computer. After entering your
service tag number, follow the instructions to
contact Dell Support for recovery assistance and to obtain the necessary files.
Assisted recovery will be needed if you need
to bypass the PBA login for any reason.
Prerequisites
When contacting Dell Support for recovery assistance, ensure that the following prerequisites are met.
Ensure that you have physical access to the drive to be recovered.
Ensure that you have the recovery keys. Your recovery keys ar
e saved on a network drive or on removable media (see
page 16).
