Connect the computer and monitor to electrical outlets. Turn on the computer and monitor.
Set Up Other Devices Last
Open the front door to access:
1. CD or DVD drive
Play CDs or DVDs.
2. Floppy drive (optional) or Media Card Reader (optional)
Connect several types of media cards in these slots.
3. Headphone connector
Use to plug in headphones. Doing so disables sound from your speakers.
4. Microphone connector
Use to plug in a microphone.
5. IEEE 1394
Connect devices, such as digital cameras, to the IEEE 1394 connector.
6. Front USB 2.0 connectors (2)
Connect accessories, such as game controllers and digital cameras.
