– Size: this defines a set limit in Gibibytes (GiB) for incoming raw data allowed per container.

8. Click Create a New Container (or click Cancel to display the Containers page).

After creating the new container, the Containers page is displayed and includes a Successfully Added dialog. The

list of containers in the Containers summary table is updated with your new container (and its new status is

reflected as N/A in the Replication column of this table).

할당되지 않은 연결 유형 컨테이너 생성

정의된 연결 유형 없이(None) DR Series 시스템에서 할당되지 않은 컨테이너를 생성하려면 다음을 수행합니다.

노트: DR Series 시스템을 사용하면 특정 연결 유형으로 구성하지 않고도 컨테이너를 생성할 수 있습니다.

나중에 할당되지 않은 컨테이너를 구성할 준비가 되면 컨테이너 요약 표에서 해당 컨테이너를 선택하고

Edit(편집)를 클릭한 후 원하는 연결 유형으로 구성합니다.

1. Storage(스토리지) → Containers(컨테이너)를 선택합니다.

기존 컨테이너가 모두 표시되는 Containers(컨테이너) 페이지가 표시됩니다.

2. Create(생성)를 클릭합니다.

Create New Container(새 컨테이너 생성) 대화상자가 표시됩니다.

3. Container Name(컨테이너 이름)에 컨테이너 이름을 입력합니다.

컨테이너 이름은 최대 32자이며 다음과 같은 문자를 조합하여 사용할 수 있습니다.

노트: DR Series 시스템에서는 컨테이너 이름에 /, # 또는 @ 특수 문자를 사용할 수 없습니다.

– A-Z(대문자)

– a-z(소문자)

– 0-9(숫자)

– 대시(-) 또는 밑줄(_) 특수 문자

4. Marker Type(마커 유형)에서 None, Auto, CommVault, Networker, TSM 또는 ARCserv를 선택합니다.

Auto 마커 유형을 선택하면 모든 마커 유형이 검색됩니다. 모범 사례로서, 컨테이너로 유도되는 트래픽에

한 가지 유형의 DMA를 사용할 경우에는 해당 마커 유형(예: CommVault)을 선택하는 것이 가장 좋습니다. 이

와 반대되는 모범 사례로서, 지원되는 마커 유형이 아닌 DMA의 트래픽을 사용하는 경우 None 마커 유형을

선택하여 컨테이너에 대해 마커 검색을 비활성화하는 것이 가장 좋습니다.

5. 할당되지 않은 컨테이너 유형으로 컨테이너를 생성하려면 None을 선택하여 나중에 구성할 수 있는 컨테이

너를

생성하거나 컨테이너에 대해 모든 특정 마커 유형을 비활성화합니다.

6. Create a New Container(새 컨테이너 생성)를 클릭하거나 Cancel(취소)을 클릭하여 Container Summary(컨테이

너 요약) 페이지를 표시합니다.

새 컨테이너가 생성되면 Containers(컨테이너) 페이지가 표시되고 Successfully Added(추가 완료) 대화상자

가 표시됩니다. 컨테이너 요약 표의 컨테이너 목록이 새로운 할당되지 않은 컨테이너로 업데이트됩니다.

Editing Container Settings

To modify any of the settings for an existing container, complete the following:

1. Select Storage→ Containers.

The Containers page is displayed, and lists all current containers.

2. Click Select to identify the container in the list that you want to modify, and click Edit.

The Edit Container dialog is displayed.

3. Modify the marker type options for the selected container as needed (containers support None, Auto, CommVault,

Networker, TSM (Tivoli Storage Manager), or ARCserve.

If you select the Auto marker type, this will enable all marker types to be detected. As a best practice, if you have

only one type of DMA with traffic directed to a container, it is best to select the corresponding marker type (for
