To view a localized version of the DRAC 5 Web-based interface in Internet Explorer, perform the
following steps:

Click the
Tools
menu and select
Internet Options
.

In the
Internet Options
window, click
Languages
.

In the
Language Preference
window, click
Add
.

In the
Add Language
window, select a supported language.
To select more than one language, press <Ctrl>.

Select your preferred language and click
Move Up
to move the language to the top of the list.

Click
OK
.

Language Preference
window, click
OK

Linux
If you are running Console Redirection on a Red Hat Enterprise Linux (version 4) client with a
Simplified Chinese GUI, the viewer menu and title may appear in random characters. This issue is
caused by an incorrect encoding in the Red Hat Enterprise Linux (version 4) Simplified Chinese
operating system. To fix this issue, access and modify the current encoding settings by performing the
following steps:

Open a command terminal.

Type “locale” and press <Enter>. The following output appears.
