Before Configuring Additional Network Settings
Use one of the following features to configure additional network settings:

Use Web Services to monitor printers on the network.
• Verify that the host computer and the Dell machine are on the same subnet, or that the router is correctly
configured to pass data between the two devices.
• You must configure the IP address on your Dell machine before you configure this setting.

2012 R2, you must install Print Services.
1. Insert the Installer CD-ROM.
2. Open Windows
®
Explorer, and navigate to your CD-ROM drive, and then select install > bin > ComDLL > Data.
3. Double-click PnPDrvInst.exe or dpinstx86.exe.
4. If the User Account Control screen appears, do one of the following:

Click Allow.

Click Yes.
5. Do one of the following:

Click
(Start) > Network.
The machine's Web Services Name appears with the printer icon.
Right-click the machine you want to install.

The machine's Web Services Name appears with the printer icon.

Move your mouse to the lower right corner of your desktop. When the menu bar appears, click Settings >
Change PC settings > Devices > Add a device.
The machine's Web Services Name appears.
