Replacing the CANbus cable

Procedure

1. Place the CANbus port into the CANbus slot on the top cover.

2. Replace the hexagonal screws that secure the CANbus port to the top cover.

3. Route the CANbus cable through the routing guides on the chassis and under the heat sink plate.

4. Connect the CANbus cable to the connector on the CANbus card.

Post-requisites

1. Replace the PCI/PCIe card (if necessary).

2. Follow step 2 to step 8 in “Replacing the back cover”.
