Replacing the bottom cover

Procedure
1. Replace the hard-drive cage.
2. Insert the tabs on back cover at an angle into the slots on the chassis.
3. Open the back cover.
4. Route the SATA-power and SATA-data cables through the routing guides.
5. Connect the SATA-power and SATA-data cable to the hard drive or solid-state drive assembly.

Connect the cables to the second drive if installed.
6. Close the back cover.
7. Align the screw holes on the back cover with the screw holes on the chassis.
8. Replace screws that secure the back cover to the chassis.
Post-requisites
1. Replace the serial port.
2. Replace the WLAN-antenna connectors.
3. Replace the WWAN-antenna connectors.
4. Replace the PCI/PCIe card (if necessary).
5. Follow step 2 to step 8 in “Replacing the back cover”.
