Syntax
vfabric fabric-ID
Parameters fabric-ID — Enter the fabric ID, from 1 to 255.
Defaults Not configured

Information
Enable the F_Port or NPG feature before configuring a vfabric. You can configure only one vfabric in
F_Port mode. The vfabric becomes active only when you configure the vfabric with a valid VLAN and FC
map. Do not use spanned VLAN as vfabric VLAN.
The no version of this command removes the vfabric. You can remove a vfabric only when it is not
applied on any interface.
Supported on the MX9116n switch in Full Switch mode starting in release 10.4.1.0. Also supported in
SmartFabric mode starting in release 10.5.0.1.
