Usage
Information
The cost is also referred as reference-bandwidth or bandwidth. Use the area default-cost
command on the border routers at the edge of a stub area. The no version of this command resets the
value to the default.

area nssa
Defines an area as a NSSA.
Syntax
area area-id nssa [default-information-originate | no-redistribution | no-
summary]
Parameters
area-id Enter the OSPF area ID as an IP address in A.B.C.D format or number, from 1 to 65535.
no-redistribution (Optional) Prevents the redistribute command from distributing
routes into the NSSA. Use no-redistribution command only in an NSSA ABR.
no-summary (Optional) Ensures that no summary LSAs are sent to the NSSA.

Summarizes routes matching an address/mask at an area in ABRs.
Syntax
area area-id range ip-address [no-advertise]
Parameters
area-id Set the OSPF area ID as an IP address in A.B.C.D format or number, from 1 to 65535.
ip-address (Optional) Enter an IP address/mask in dotted decimal format.
no-advertise (Optional) Set the status to Do Not Advertise. The Type 3 summary-LSA is
suppressed and the component networks remain hidden from other areas.
