DNS commands
OS10 supports the configuration of a DNS host and domain parameters.
ip domain-list
Adds a domain name to the DNS list.
Syntax
ip domain-list [vrf vrf-name] [server-name] name
Parameters
vrf vrf-name — (Optional) Enter vrf and then the name of the VRF to add a domain name to the DNS
list corresponding to that VRF.
server-name — (Optional) Enter the server name to add a domain name to the DNS list.
name — Enter the name of the domain to append to the DNS list.

Usage Information There is a maximum of six domain names in the DNS list. Use the ip domain-list command to configure a
domain name to complete unqualified host names. The domain name appends to incomplete host names in DNS
requests. The no version of this command removes a domain name from the DNS list.
