zone default-zone permit

Enables access between all logged-in FC nodes of the vfabric in the absence of an active zoneset configuration.

Usage Information

A default zone advertises a maximum of 255 members in the registered state change notification (RSCN)

message. The no version of this command disables access between the FC nodes in the absence of an active

zoneset.

Activates an existing zoneset. You can activate only one zoneset in a vfabric.

Syntax

zoneset activate zoneset-name

Parameters zoneset-name — Enter an existing zoneset name.

Usage Information

After you disable an active zoneset, the zone default-zone permit command configuration takes effect.

Based on this configuration, the default zone allows or denies access between all the logged-in FC nodes of the

vfabric. The

no version of this command deactivates the zoneset.

Supported on the MX9116n switch in Full Switch mode starting in release 10.4.1.0. Also supported in SmartFabric

mode starting in release 10.5.0.1.
