Enables peer listening and sets the prefix range for dynamic peers.
Syntax
listen ip-address [limit count]
Parameters
ip-address—Enter the BGP neighbor IP address.
limit count—(Optional) Enter a maximum dynamic peer count, from 1 to 4294967295.
Default Not configured

Usage Information Enables a passive peering session for listening. The no version of this command disables a passive peering session.

local-as
Configures a local AS number for a peer.
Syntax
local-as as-number [no-prepend]
Parameters
as-number—Enter the local AS number, from 1 to 4294967295.
no-prepend—(Optional) Enter so that local AS values are not prepended to the AS_PATH attribute.

Usage Information
Facilitates the BGP network migration operation and allows you to maintain existing AS numbers. The no version
of this command resets the value to the default.
The no local-as command deletes the local-as configuration.
