Syntax

write {memory}

Parameters memory — Copy the current running configuration to the startup configuration.

Default Not configured

Command Mode EXEC

Usage Information This command has the same effect as the copy running-configuration startup-configuration

command. The running configuration is not saved to a local configuration file other than the startup configuration.

Use the copy command to save running configuration changes to a local file.
