LLDP-MED
Network connectivity devices and endpoint devices exchange LLDP-MED TLVs for interoperability and store advertised
information.
OS supports the following LLDP-MED TLVs:
LLDP-MED capabilities
Network policy
Inventory management
Location identification
Extended power via MDI
NOTE: LLDP-MED is designed for but not limited to VoIP endpoints.

LLDP-MED capabilities TLV
The LLDP-MED capabilities TLV communicates the types of TLVs that the endpoint device and network-connectivity device
support. The value of the LLDP-MED capabilities field in the TLV is a 2octet bitmap. Each bit represents an LLDP-MED
capability.
