sflow sampling
Use the sflow sampling command to enable a new sflow sampler instance for
this data source if rcvr_idx is valid. An sflow sampler collects flow samples to
send to the receiver. Use the “no” form of this command to reset sampler
parameters to the default.
Syntax
sflow rcvr-index sampling {gigabitethernet | tengigabitethernet |
fortygigabitethernet} interface-list sampling-rate [size]

• rcvr-index — The sFlow Receiver for this sFlow sampler to which flow
samples are to be sent. If no receiver is configured, then no packets will
be sampled. Only active receivers can be set. If a receiver times out, then
all samplers associated with the receiver will also expire. (Range: 1–8).
• interface-list — The list of interfaces to poll in unit/slot/port format.
• sampling-rate — The statistical sampling rate for packet sampling from
this source. A value of n means that out of n incoming packets, 1 packet
will be sampled. (Range: 1024–65536).
• size — The maximum number of bytes that should be copied from the
sampler packet (Range: 20–256 bytes).
Default Configuration
There are no samplers configured by default.
The default is no default sampling rate.
The default size is 128.
