Layer 3 Routing Commands 1886
Syntax
vrrp group-id address-family {ipv4 | ipv6}
no vrrp group-id address-family {ipv4 | ipv6}
group-id—Virtual router group number. The range is from 1 to 255.
address-family
—Specifies the address-family for this VRRP group.
ipv4
—(Optional) Specifies IPv4 address.
ipv6
—(Optional) Specifies IPv6 address.
Default Configuration
This command has no default configuration.

User Guidelines
To use the no vrrp group-id address-family {ipv4 | ipv6} command, disable
the virtual router with the shutdown command in the corresponding VRRP
config mode.
VRRPv2 and VRRPv3 are not compatible. Do not use both VRRPv2 and
VRRPv3 together in a network.

show vrrp
This commands displays information about the status and configuration
details for a given Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol version 3 (VRRPv3)
group configured on the specified interface for a specified IP address family.
Syntax
show vrrp {ipv4 | ipv6} [ vlan vlan-id vr-id ]
ipv4
—(Optional) Indicates the Virtual router group belongs to the IPv4
address family.
