Switch Management Commands 2041
The Dell EMC Networking PoE solution also provides a global usage
threshold feature in order to limit the PoE switch from reaching an overload
condition. The operator can specify the limit as a percentage of the
maximum power.
NOTE: PoE commands are only applicable to copper ports.
Commands in this Section
This section explains the following commands:
power inline
The power inline command enables/disables the ability of the port to deliver
power.
Syntax
power inline {auto|never}
no power inline
• auto — Enables device discovery and, if a device is found using the
method specified by the power inline detection setting, supplies power
to the device.
• never — Disables the device discovery protocol and stops supplying
power to the device.
