After entering the view corresponding to a specific SYSLOG server, the
command can be executed to set the description of the server.
Example
The following example sets the SYSLOG server description.
console(config-logging)#description "syslog server 1"
level
Use the level command in Logging mode to specify the severity level of
SYSLOG messages. To reset to the default value, use the no form of the
command.
Syntax
level <level>
no level
• level—The severity level for SYSLOG messages. (emergencies, alerts,
critical, errors, warnings, notifications, informational, debugging)
Default Configuration
The default value for level is info.
