Table 17. Fixed configuration and hardware issues Issue Description 51873 The SCSI Product ID and model number fields are blank for Value Array Series storage systems. 51770 An IPv6 address is not assigned to the controller when the Auto option is selected from the Source dropdown menu. 51586 Removed Independent Cache Performance Mode (ICPM) settings. 51080 Added warning message during iSCSI setup when multi-server access is enabled. Table 18.
Table 22. Known storage management issues Issue Description 51833 Performance issues with 10Gbase-T controllers and Intel Ethernet Converged Network Adapter X520. Workaround: Update to the latest version of the Intel Ethernet Converged Network Adapter X520 driver. Then, disable the interrupts in the Intel Ethernet Converged Network Adapter X520 driver. 49962 PowerVault Manager panels use inconsistent terms for SAS disks: ● MDL and SAS MDL are spinning midline or nearline SAS disks.

Table 25. Fixed installation and update issues (continued) Issue Description ● The newly inserted controller uses IPv6 addressing. ● The mid-plane is set to static IP addressing. ● The newly inserted controller is set to DHCP. ● A communication issue occurs between the management controller and the storage controller. 49929 In rare cases, a Firmware update failed error message displays while loading controller firmware bundles.
Table 26. Fixed replication issues (continued) Issue Description to resume replication fails with the message Error: The operation cannot be completed because controller failover or recovery is in progress. 49070 When a replication set is created in ME Storage Manager, the replication schedule window is not displayed when the Scheduled check box is selected.
Table 27. Fixed storage management issues (continued) Issue Description 49863 DNS settings remain unchanged after issuing the clear dns-parameters CLI command, despite the system displaying a success message. 49738 In an empty CLI command line, pressing Tab displays inapplicable commands, such as FTP commands. 48631 In ME Storage Manager, if the system time is changed from 24–hour to 12–hour mode (AM or PM), the change does not persist to the next session. Table 35. Known replication issues (continued) Issue Description 49705 With single-controller mode enabled and I/O running, using the CLI to change the cache write policy of a volume to write-through can cause the controller to crash. Workaround: Before changing the write policy for a volume in a single-controller mode, quiesce I/O. NOTE: This issue is fixed in GT280R004-01 firmware.
Table 36. Known storage management issues (continued) Issue Description 50133 In ME Storage Manager, setting DNS parameters to the same values that are already set fails with the error Command is taking longer to complete than anticipated.
