Power interposer board
Removing power interposer board
Prerequisites
1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in Safety instructions.
2. Follow the procedure listed in Before working inside your system.
3. Remove the cooling fans.
4. Remove the MiniPERC riser.
5. Disconnect the cables connected to the Power Interposer board.
6. Disconnect the cables connected from the power interposer board to the system board and hard-drive backplane.
7. Remove the PSU.
CAUTION: To prevent damage to the power interposer board, you must remove the power supply module (s) or power
supply blank from the system before removing the power interposer board or power distribution board.
Steps
1. Using a Phillips #2 screwdriver, remove the two screws securing the power interposer board (PIB) to the system.
2. Slide the board towards the front of the system and then lift it out.
