NOTE: On LPe16000-series adapters, both direct-attach and fabric point-to-point are supported.
On LPe31000-series, LPe32000-series, and LPe35000-series adapters, you can configure the following topologies:
 Point-to-Point
 FC-AL
NOTE: On LPe31000-series,LPe32000-series, and LPe35000-series adapters, for FC-AL, only direct-attach is supported.
To select the adapter topology, perform these steps:
1. On the main configuration menu (Figure 2), select Configure Adapter Firmware Parameters and press Enter.
The adapter firmware parameters configuration menu is displayed (Figure 21).
2. Select Topology Selection and press Enter.
Information similar to Figure 23 is displayed.

3. Select the topology for the adapter.
4. Press Enter to accept the new topology.
5. Press Esc until you exit the Emulex LightPulse FC BIOS utility.
6. Reboot the system.
The topology options available for LPe31000-series, LPe32000-series, and LPe35000-series adapters are shown in
Figure 23.
