Attribute Description
IP addresses IP address specied in the access point, if applicable. Requires that access policies be
expanded so that access points are shown.
Applies to Indicates whether an extended access point or access policy is to be applied to both the
volume and its snapshots, the volume only, or the snapshot only.
You can edit the Applies to parameter directly from the subpanel.

Field Description
iSCSI access Type of iSCSI access for the volume.
Access type Type of read access for the volume.
Multiple access Type of access allowed for multiple iSCSI initiators.
Access policy groups
Name Names of any policy groups associated with the selected volume.
To congure an access policy group for this volume, click the Add link.
Description Description of the policy group
Applies to Either volumes and snapshots, volumes only, or snapshots only
Access policies
Policy Name of one or more access policies for the selected volume.
If you want to add more policies (up to 3), or modify or delete an existing policy, click the
links at the top-right corner of the panel.
CHAP account CHAP user name for the policy, if specied
iSCSI initiator Name of the initiator for the policy, if specied
IP addresses Any IP addresses for the policy, if specied
Applies to Either volumes and snapshots, volumes only, or snapshots only
Basic access points
Description Description of the new basic access point for the selected volume.
To create a new basic access point for the volume, click the New link.
You must supply at least one of the
following
Specify a CHAP account name, an iSCSI initiator name, and/or an IP address for the basic
access point. You must specify at least one of these elements.
